Blend Microsalon Policies

In order to ensure Blend runs smoothly and consistently, policies are a must! Policies may not be the most exciting part of coming to a new salon, but it's important to have a mutual understanding of expectations and boundaries. I've carefully drawn up these policies to protect your investment in me, as well as my investment in you.

  • Cancellations/Late Arrivals
    In order to continue providing the best possible scheduling options to all guests, a 48 hour notice is required should you need to cancel or reschedule your reserved time. Should you cancel your reserved appointment with less than 48 hours notice, a $40 per hour reserved fee does apply and will be due before a new appointment time can be reserved. This fee will also be applied to no call/no show appointments. If you arrive for your appointment more than 15 minutes late, your appointment will need to be rescheduled. Sometimes, depending on the services scheduled, a portion of the service could be skipped in order to stay within scheduled timing. This isn't always the case, and I reserve the right to assess each late arrival on a case by case basis.
  • Health/Wellness
    due to the personal nature of services offered, if you are sick with a cold/flu/Covid 19 I must kindly ask that you text/email me right away to reschedule your service for a time when you are well. I love spending time with my guests and delivering the best possible experience each and every time, it would be impossible for me to continue doing so if I contract a cold/flu/Covid 19 and many of my guests would be inconvenienced. I am extremely grateful for your diligence in this matter.
  • Additional Guests
    The studio space is cozy & comfy, yet it is small. Every inch is utilized to provide you with the most elevated salon experience possible. There is simply not enough room for additional guests. No additional guests or unaccompanied minors are allowed in the salon. The goal of this policy is to ensure the safety of kiddos as there are many sharp implements, hot wax & tools, and sophisticated equipment within the working space. Minors who are receiving services are of course, always welcome.
  • Product Returns
    Gently used haircare & styling products may be returned at or before your next visit if you are not 100% satisfied. Please kindly reach out to me if you are experiencing any issues with something you purchased at Blend. I would love to either help troubleshoot or suggest something that suits your needs better. I guarantee every single product I sell at Blend, and I take great pride in helping you find the best products for your hair to support your look!
  • Adjustments/Redos
    If you feel like something isn't quite right with your hair, based on what we discussed in our consultation, please reach out to me within 7 days following your visit. In most cases, a minor, easy adjustment is all it takes to get you back to loving your hair again! I want you to absolutely love your hair, and I am always open to your feedback. It's not a bother, so please don't hesitate to reach out. I will do my very best to find a time that works for both of us to adjust your hair, free of charge. If you decide you really don't care for the color we discussed in our consultation, and would prefer something different, this is a change of heart. It happens, especially when we try something new! Sometimes you just need some time to adjust to it, and sometimes you just want to change it back. Reach out to me and I'll be happy to book you a new Session. As this is a new Session, it will need to be paid in full once completed.
